GOOD Based on 233 reviews Posted on Eloisa Grande LinaresTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Ian BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very peaceful 4 nights... Everything we needed was in the lodge. Gary was on hand any time of the day and nothing was to much trouble for him (we did need a gas bottle changed). Really comfortable lodge. My wife enjoyed the relaxation.. Quiet and calmness. Lovely long walks in the forest with my dog, who got to run free from the lead. Nice dark clear skies at night. Definitely booking again.Posted on Adam HaylesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a fantastic time here. It’s set in such a quiet, beautiful area. Great if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle. I was prepared for no internet or signal but actually had great service on Tesco/O2. The lodge had everything we needed, with staff there if we needed them. Best to get shopping on the drive in. It’s quite remote but we enjoyed getting out on the road every day and seeing the amazing surroundings, including St. Mary’s Loch, Grey Mare’s Tail and Devil’s Beeftub. We even took a day out to Edinburgh.
Site managers live on the park and are available to help with any questions you may have. Whether you need local recommendations, assistance with your accommodation, or general information about the area, our friendly team is here to support you throughout your stay.
There are picnic tables positioned throughout the park, offering lovely spots to relax, share meals outdoors, or simply take in the fresh air and views. Enjoy a morning cup of tea watching the birds, or a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

We are a dog friendly caravan park and welcome well behaved dogs. Angecroft Caravan Park enjoys access to a stretch of Tima Water. Fishing rights are available to guests and owners who wish to spend peaceful hours casting a line by the river. It is a wonderful way to relax, enjoy the surroundings and embrace the slower pace of rural life.
While not a formal “facility”, one of Angecroft’s greatest assets is its setting. Open countryside, quiet tracks and riverside paths are right on your doorstep, giving you immediate access to wonderful walking and wildlife watching opportunities. Whether you choose a gentle stroll or a more adventurous hike, the park’s location invites you to discover the natural beauty of the Ettrick Valley.
